Welcome to my garden

This is my garden, I love working in it, wandering around it, sitting in it and taking pictures of flowers and wildlife. The photographs are all taken in my garden throughout the year.  It is a small garden and divided into 3 sections, front of house, back of house which are long narrow strips and end of house which is a larger, lawned oblong plot with flower beds and a mixed hedge consisting of native trees and shrubs along the road end and a Berberis hedge along the dividing boundary.

I like to grow english cottage garden plants - cranesbill, aquilegia, geum, heuchera, lavender, hemerocallis, ox-eye daisy and other types of perennials.  Wildlife is abundant in the spring and summer, birds, butterflies, moths and bees and in the case of our visiting birds - they visit all year round as I keep the bird feeders full, even in Summer.
